Earth Quake Shocks

  •  The Island of Ranongga in the south pacific was lifted out of the water by 10 feet in 2007,by an earthquake that measured 8.1 on the Richter scale.
  • An earthquake in Mexico in 1985 was strong enough to shake water out of a swimming pool 1,240 miles away in Tucson,Arizona.
  • Hundreds of hibernating snakes came out from their underground hideaways in china,just before an earthquake struck in 1975.
  • A 2007 earthquake was powerful enough to throw back a torpedo boat that had sunk in world war II.
